Pint Night to Support Cape May Beach Patrol

**EVENT UPDATE 9/9 12PM: This event will now be in the main Tasting Room due to ongoing rain!**

Last month, the Cape May community was rocked by the tragic news of young Cape May Beach Patrol lifeguard, Norman “Champ” Inferrera III, who lost his life during a routine patrol. The support from those near and far truly touched our tiny beach community and everyone banded together to show support for Champ, his family, and his fellow Cape May Beach Patrol lifeguards during this dark time. Individuals and organizations donated funds around the country that will go towards annual scholarships in Norman’s memory. In an unprecedented show of support, fifty-six lifeguards from 18 different agencies across New Jersey came down to fill in for Cape May’s beach patrol so that they could attend Norman’s funeral in Pennsylvania. A beach in Cape May will be renamed in his honor. We’re so grateful that Norman was able to live out his dream of being a lifeguard, and for his bravery and courage in protecting our beaches.

One of our core values here at Cape May Brewing Company is to Be a Good Neighbor. In support of our community and the Cape May Beach Patrol’s Cannone Scholarship Fund, Cape May Brewing Company will be hosting a Pint Night in our Brewtanical Garden (the outdoor space under the trees across from the main building) on Thursday, September 9th from 4pm – 7pm. $1 from every pint and flight sold will be donated, and there will be donation buckets at the entrance, bar, and throughout the space for additional donations.

Cape May’s own Ben Stone will play acoustic covers from 6pm to 7pm that evening.

We hope to see you there as we stand in support of our shore community and honor the memory of a bright, beloved young man.
