Exit Zero Jazz Festival at Cape May Brewing Company
The cultural event of the season is coming to Cape May Brewing Company! The Exit Zero Jazz Festival, one of Cape May’s time-honored traditions, will be in our Brewtanical Garden beginning Friday, October 2nd, and running through Sunday, October 4th.
12:30 – 3:30, Two Sets
On Sunday, we’re thrilled to welcome back Fat Mezz!
Blending classic modern musical styles, this high-energy group of talented, young, South Jersey-based musicians will entertain you with such artists as The Grateful Dead and Marvin Gaye, jamming out everything in between. This not-yet-old-enough-to-drink quartet rocked our Brewtanical Garden last weekend, and we’re thrilled to have them back for more.
4:30 – 7:30, Two Sets
Following Fat Mezz, you’ll love Billy Walton Band!
Billy Walton is an accomplished guitar master from the vibrant New Jersey Shore music scene, earning his stripes in the rock & roll trenches, playing lead guitar for many years with Jersey icon, Southside Johnny. The Billy Walton Band grew out of this rich musical heritage and found its groove when Billy connected with bassist William Paris. With the addition of Tom Petraccaro on sax, Eric Safka on Hammond B3, Bruce Krywinski Jr on trumpet, and Shane Luckenbough on drums; the band has truly hit its stride. They have a solid, dedicated fan base which is growing quickly. In addition to blues-rock fans, the jam band scene has also embraced the band – hungry for their high-energy live shows.
We’ll be opening the gates at the Brewtanical Garden at 11am each day of the festival. You can buy tickets in advance here — including the Cape May Brewing Company Hops Pass — or at the brewery. On the day of the show, your $20 cover charge will be good for four hours of music, but the Hops Pass is the real deal — for only $54, you’ll get first-come, first-served entry to all of the outdoor club venues of the festival, including the Cape May Brewing Company Brewtanical Garden!
See you then!
