Why We Love Tan Limes

Folks… TAN LIMES IS BACK!

Our ridiculously delicious, unbelievably refreshing, extraordinarily vibrant Mexican lager with sea salt and lime returns to our lineup this weekend, and we’re all thrilled about it. We loved it so much last year that we brewed it over and over, canned it up for a Tasting Room-only release, and decided to scale it up this year so that more people throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware could enjoy the lime life for themselves.

We caught up with the Brew Crew to find out what they love about this über-drinkable, intensely crushable, and delightfully zesty beer.

Innovation Director Brian Hink

What do you love about Tan Limes? It’s a tasty lil’ crispy boi that pairs perfectly with fish tacos.

How will you be enjoying Tan Limes this summer? I’ll definitely slug back a few shifties of it, and I’ll probably pick up a 6-pack next time I’m making fish tacos at home. Also, looking forward to enjoying some while tailgating at a Phillies game, and I’ll probably toss a few in my disk golf bag next time I’m going to throw some disks in the woods.

How will you be enjoying Tan Limes this summer? On the beach, at the Tasting Room, in town, on a boat, after I mow the lawn, sitting on my deck…. I think you get the picture.

With whom will you share Tan Limes? Everyone… I’m going to have to add a lock on my beer fridge.

What do you love about Tan Limes? I can’t get enough of it! SOOO easy to drink, tastes great, refreshing, with a good citrus flavor profile. I love lime! Lime is so underrated and so is this beer! The can label says it all – relax, work on your tan with a can of Tan Limes!

How will you be enjoying Tan Limes this summer? Frequently, on tap, preferably. Those non-craft beer drinkers will enjoy this one!

With whom will you share Tan Limes? Get your own! Okay, I do share with my husband, who also loves Tan Limes.

What do you love about Tan Limes? It’s so light. I think I’ve blown out my palate on hoppy IPAs, so when something comes through this light and this flavorful, I’m totally down with it.

How will you be enjoying Tan Limes this summer? With Phish on the beach in AC! I hoarded Tan Limes’ Tasting Room-Only release last year to have around for summer tour, and my friends loved it. It’s really a great beer for tailgating since it’s so light.

With whom will you share Tan Limes? My dad. He’s not a craft beer guy, but I think everyone can expect to see a lot of Tan Limes at Phil’s tiki bar by the pool this summer!

Tasting Room Manager Danielle White

What do you love about Tan Limes? Is this a rhetorical question? Tan Limes is a perfect balance of lime, sea salt, and tasty lager. What else do you need in life?

With whom will you share Tan Limes? If I could, I would share Tan Limes with the world, but let’s be real. I’ll share Tan Limes with my family and friends so they can taste this crispy goodness in a can for themselves.

Events Team Member Jenna Tesauro

What do you love about Tan Limes? It’s the right kind of beer for warm days and outdoor fun (which have to go hand-in-hand). I love that it’s a fairly mellow beer that really lets the lime and salt take center stage on the palate, keeping it light and flavorful.

How will you be enjoying Tan Limes this summer? By the case! I’m glad we’ll have it in 6 packs everywhere. They fit much better into my cooler backpack than the 16oz four packs do…

With whom will you share Tan Limes? My softball team. It might be the best contribution I make all season (read: it most definitely will be). Tan Limes just goes too well with some casual competitiveness on hot days, and it’ll be super refreshing.

Social Media and Design Alchemist Courtney Sara Rosenberg

What do you love about Tan Limes? I love how the flavor grows and grows. The first sip is subtle, but by the end of the can you’re craving more.

How will you be enjoying Tan Limes this summer? I’ve been wanting a more “regular” beer to break up the flood of IPAs and this one is it. This will be my go-to for grilling and lawn mowing.
