I’m thankful for… my coworkers because they keep this business what it is supposed to be: fun.

What We’re Thankful For….

It’s the time of year to sit back and reflect on the things in our lives for which we are the most thankful. Whether it’s our families and loved ones, our pets, or access to great beer from CMBC, we’ve all got a lot to be thankful for.

We polled the Brew Crew to find out what they’ll be thankful for this holiday, but one thing we’re all thankful for around here is you. We all know that it’s our unbelievable fans that keep us going, and we’re eternally grateful for your love and support.

Warehouse Manager Polly Pollock-Bell

I’m thankful that… Thanksgiving is a new holiday for me but has quickly become one of my favorites. The idea of eating and drinking with loved ones and celebrating what we are all thankful for is so Lekker! ***(Lekker: An Afrikaans word meaning superb or fantastic which is applied equally to a person, object or event)***

With that being said, unfortunately, I haven’t been unable to spend Thanksgiving with my actual family so: I am really thankful for my fantastic job and in turn all the wonderful people I have met here at CMBC. The Brew Crew has become a huge part of my life. The company culture and daily interactions with one another always leave me smiling and laughing. You know there is nothing better in life than wanting to actually go to work every day… I’ve found that, so I’m extremely lucky and beyond thankful. Thankful for the colleagues who are now like family.

I’m also thankful for… That Good Good, cranberries and turkey, hell yeah! 8% ABV and it tastes like nectar from the Gods… need I say more…

Indeed, I’m thankful for… the shifties we get every day… those bad boys give me something to look forward to every day. It’s as if I get a prize at the end of every day and that fact that it is an ice-cold beer is even better. Who knew adulting could be such fun?!?

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold That Cranberry Good Good.

Tasting Room Supervisor Danielle Brasch

I’m thankful for… Mike, Olive, my family, and, of course, my favorite Brew Crew!

I’m also thankful for… all of the amazing opportunities and experiences CMBC shares with me!

Indeed, I’m thankful for… all of the customers who come to visit and allow me to do what I do!

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold Grapefruit Crushin’ It.

Marketing Director Alicia Grasso

I’m thankful that… my kids remind me every day to enjoy the simple pleasures in life like the joy in finding a glimmering piece of blue sea glass on the beach, the soothing quality of someone reading to you at night, and the boss-ass, musical soundtrack of Steven Universe.

I’m also thankful for… our family hamster, Star, and how having a pet teaches my kids life responsibilities (that’s a weekly, cage-cleaning bald-faced lie, everyone.)

Indeed, I’m thankful for… having a really fun place to spend endless hours working with some really amazing, talented people!

Regional Sales Manager Erin Gale

I’m thankful that… as I hit my 2 year mark as of 11/13 with CMBC, it has been fun to look back and reflect on the past 2 years. I’m thankful for a growing brand in one of the most volatile industries EVER, the best coworkers in the game, and the friendships I’ve made with our Origlio colleagues. On a personal note, I’m thankful for the fun year ahead as Mike and I prepare for our wedding/marriage in 2020!

I’m also thankful for… our growing brand because in the industry’s current climate, this is a tough feat.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… my coworkers because they keep this business what it is supposed to be:  fun. If you aren’t having fun when you’re selling beer, you’re doing something wrong!

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold White Caps — Mike’s favorite! — as we celebrate Thanksgiving at my Aunt’s house this year!

Events Coordinator Randi Friel

I’m thankful for… Scott Armato. No explanation is needed, have you heard this man’s voice? I get to sit next to him 40+ hours a week, I’m a very lucky girl.

I’m also thankful for… Rickie Prowler and Colonel Mustard. The best cats anyone can ever have, sorry Brian and Lauren.

Indeed, I’m thankful for…  Kristen Taylor, for spearheading the Randi Fan Club.

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold Biscuits and Honey.

Sales Assistant Jenna Rae Rohana

I’m thankful for… my pitbull Tonka & horse Guppy because they make me smile every day and bring so much happiness into my life!

I’m also thankful for… my best friend Leann because there is no one on the planet I spend more time laughing with than her.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… my loving, supportive family, because I can count on them for anything!

Innovation Director Brian Hink

I’m thankful… that the world hasn’t ended yet. It’s been looking dicey of late, and the Doomsday Clock has been at 2 minutes to midnight for three years running, so it’s comforting that the new normal we live in is that we’re on the precipice of the end of the world at all times.

I’m also thankful for… dry sarcasm coming through on the internet more easily these days.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… Beer. And Pizza.

Social Media and Design Alchemist Courtney Rosenberg

I’m thankful for… Chenille. I am obsessed with my chenille sweaters this holiday season and thankful for their ability to keep me warm and comfy. It’s like wearing a blanket, but in a fashionable piece of apparel.

I’m also thankful for… pop culture. Heather McMahan makes me laugh every freaking day and speaks the truth. If you don’t know who she is, go to the Instagrams and give her a follow or go to Spotify and search Absolutely Not Podcast. She’s a boss woman in her 30s saying what we all want to say (or at least what I want to say). I’m also thankful for Ben Platt’s album Sing to Me Instead. I don’t need to explain why; just listen to it. His voice is truly a gift.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… 2019. It was a big learning year for me. I worked through the good and the bad to be the happiest I’ve been in a long time. Bring it, 2020.

Sales Manager Eric Wormann

I’m thankful for… my new dog Merry. She’s the best dog in the world, she’s smart as hell, and she loves couch naps as much as I do.

I’m also thankful for… my wife because she’s just a little bit better than I am at everything.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… my Fanduel account. Love me some sports gamblin’.

Brewtique Associate Noelle Smuz

I’m thankful for… my dog, Trigger. He has endless energy and I am training for a half marathon.

I’m also thankful that… he loves to run, and I don’t.

Indeed, I’m thankful that… I reeeeeally do not like running, and he does.

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold Mop Water.

People Operations Manager Christine Bry

I’m thankful for… having been able to enjoy conversation with some truly remarkable people and challenge myself professionally and personally.

I’m also thankful for… my days being filled with (mostly) joyous activities.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… of the benefits, the beer benefits, not the healthcare benefits, not the professional growth, not more money, not the 401(k), not the 10 lbs of weight I have gained because of the soft pretzels, lunch, candy, and Flight Deck Diner tater tots, not the familiarity of the Cape May Airport complex on foot or scooter, not the opportunity to sleep in my own bed every night, it’s the beer benefits, the beer knowledge, the beer tastings, the beer merch, the beer, the beer, the beards! ….wait, it’s the People. I am thankful I am the Director of People Operations and work with all the awesome people who make up the Brew Crew! And when they all drive me crazy, there’s the beer.

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold Mop Water.

Sales Manager Michael Laferrera

I’m thankful for… a healthy and happy family because they are my rock.

I’m also thankful for… our two new dogs Honey and Bee because they make Cassidy and Emma very happy.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… my job for all of the amazing people I work with at Cape May Brewing Co.

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold Always Ready.

Brewtique Associate Christine Marsh

I’m thankful that… even though he’ll be missing Thanksgiving by a day or two, I am so thankful that my boyfriend is coming back from a 10-month deployment this month!

I’m also thankful for… I’m also very grateful for all the new friendships I’ve made working at such a fun brewery! Every individual has really been welcoming, fun, and kind. Especially Scott Armato. He’s just the coolest of the cool!

Indeed, I’m thankful for… most of all I am thankful for the delicious beverage called beer. Without this delicious mixture of water, hops, yeast, and grain I would not have met the people I have throughout the years, and I’ve traveled to places I would have never thought possible.

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold White Caps.

Tasting Room Supervisor Richard Schmidt

I’m thankful for… my family, without them none of this is possible!

I’m also thankful for… that it is football season, or I should say my wife’s favorite saying “football widow season”….Go Birds!!

Indeed, I’m thankful for… working for such a wonderful company! It’s a pleasure coming to work on those crazy busy or very slow days!

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold King Porter Stomp.

Greeter Kevin Cassidy

I’m thankful that… my family and friends are safe and healthy. Your good health allows you to enjoy the good times and survive the struggles.

I’m also thankful for… the roof over my head and that is close to the ocean!

Indeed, I’m thankful for… my successful relocation to North Cape May with new neighbors and friends, a great job, a new garage for my cars with a workbench, and, of course, being able to see and smell the ocean.

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold Mop Water.

Barback Ben Stone

I’m thankful that… I live in my hometown of Cape May so now I don’t need to be near any airports during the Thanksgiving holidays.

I’m also thankful for… my metabolism because I can stuff my face with food and delicious beer all thanksgiving and won’t have to worry about gaining too much weight.

Indeed, I’m thankful for… having so many amazing cooks in my family and so many amazing brewers as friends so that I won’t need to stuff my face with bad food and bad beer this holiday season!

I can’t wait to kick back at Thanksgiving with a cold Biscuits and Honey.

Whatever you’re thankful for this holiday season, you’ll be even more thankful with a Cape May Brewing Company beer. Be sure to stop by the Tasting Room next week to stock up!
