We’re Hiring!

Each spring, we come out with two things:

  1. Our awesome summer beers like Crushin’ It, Tan Limes, The Bog, and The Grove, and
  2. A laundry list of jobs that need to be filled as we head into our busy season.

And these jobs run the gamut! If you’re looking for something part-time to fill out your summer hours, we have plenty of those; however, if you’re looking for a career change to a rewarding, fast-paced job with excellent pay and benefits, working at a growing company, look no further!

Cape May Brewing Company

Part-Time, Seasonal

Barback

As a Barback, you will be responsible for ensuring that the bar area and Taproom are running smoothly, with all the supplies the Beertenders need to provide a superb customer experience in the Tasting Room.

We’re looking for someone over the age of 21 with a high school diploma or equivalent and clean criminal background history. In addition, you must have a passion for craft beer and solid working knowledge of beer and brewing or a desire to learn.

Brewtique Associate

As a Brewtique Associate, you will be responsible for all sales activities and ensuring a superb customer experience.

The ideal candidate is 21 years of age or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and basic math skills. In addition, you must be customer service-focused, enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.

Greeter

As a Greeter, you will be responsible for welcoming and seating guests and creating the first impression while entering the Tasting Room.

Our greeters are 21 years of age or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and a clean criminal background history. In addition, they’re passionate about craft beer with excellent customer service skills.

Full-Time, Year-Round

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in all functions necessary to ensure the accuracy, organization, and cleanliness of all warehouse space and operations. 

We’re looking for someone 18 or over with a high school diploma or equivalent, with strong communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills, as well as a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Brewer

As a brewer, you will be responsible for monitoring and carrying out brewhouse, fermenting, filtration, blending processes, and operations in the execution of the daily work schedule in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. 

We’re looking for a brewer who’s over 21 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent. You must have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience brewing beer.

Cellarperson

As a cellarperson, you will be responsible for fermentation, centrifuging, and carbonation of beer to packaging in the execution of the daily work schedule in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will be 21 years of age or older and have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, we’re looking for someone with a minimum of two years of experience as a brewer or cellarperson in a brewery producing 5,000 barrels or more OR three years of packaging experience in a brewery producing 10,000 barrels or more.

Laboratory Technician

As a laboratory technician at Cape May Brewing Company, you will be an integral part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that all corporate product-quality standards are being met and exceeded. You will do this by performing daily physical and microbiological testing to assure that critical operations and products are conforming to specifications, communicating to supervision when they are not, and providing technical guidance to the operational teams as needed. 

We’re looking for someone who’s at least 21 years of age or older, with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field, with coursework in brewing and/or fermentation science strongly preferred. In addition, we’d like someone with two years of experience in a food or beverage QA/QC lab environment — HACCP or Food Safety training a plus!

Content Marketing Coordinator

As a Content Marketing Coordinator, you will create and publish effective and engaging communications to our external and internal audiences. You’ll be responsible for our weekly blogs, weekly newsletters, as well as nearly every written word that comes out of Cape May Brewing Company.

We’re looking for someone with a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field who has a broad range of marketing skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Mailchimp, WordPress, and Google Analytics are a must, as well as experience in digital content creation and social media platforms — HTML knowledge is a big plus. You must have a basic understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement. Stellar writing skills are a must, as well as an eye for detail, and an understanding of AP style. Basic photo editing skills are required.

Cape Beverage

Full-Time, Year-Round

Sales Manager: Bergen, Essex, and Hudson Counties

The Sales Manager is responsible for creating and building relationships with key retailers within his or her region, executing within key on- and off-premise accounts by growing sales and market share through product distribution, display execution, and promotion within his or her assigned market.

We’re looking for someone with a minimum of three years of experience in beverage sales with a brewery or beer wholesaler. We’ll consider similar relevant business experience; however, beer sales experience is preferred. You’ll need a valid Driver’s License, a good driving record, and a reliable automobile, and you should be comfortable with brewery and distributorship sales technology.

Distribution Specialist

The Distribution Specialist is responsible for the delivery of packaged beer to our customers ensuring the highest of customer service and reliability.

You must be 21 years of age or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and a clean driving record. We’re looking to fill two positions: one, no CDL is necessary; however, if you have your CDL B driver’s licence, we’re filling a position that requires that, as well.

Warehouse Associate, 2nd Shift

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in all functions necessary to ensure the accuracy, organization, and cleanliness of all warehouse space and operations in an overnight capacity.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills, and a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
