“On our busy days, it gives people more room to hang out.”

We’re Expanding

So much more room for activities!

That’s exactly what our Beer Garden has needed. It’s spacious and sunny, but… sometimes… you need more room for activities.

Because of that, you may have noticed some activity out behind our Barrel Room. We’re expanding our existing Beer Garden into what can only be called a “bad mamma-jamma.”

IMG_4000We’re basically expanding the Beer Garden to extend behind the Barrel Room, leaving some room for a forklift to still get through, as we need to be able to get beer in and out of that area and into our coolers.

“We’re expanding it by about 25%,” says Tasting Room General Manager Chris Costello. “On our busy days, it gives people more room to hang out.”

The new section is “semi-private” — an area that you’ll be able to rent and have roped off for private parties.

“I think it’ll help when we get a call on a Saturday in the summer that we’ve got 25 girls in a bachelorette party coming,” Chris says, “we’ll have somewhere to accommodate them.”

It’s still up in the air whether or not we’ll be extending the tent over the area, but, on our bright, sunny days of summer, it’ll be a great spot to sit in the sun and have a couple of brews.

IMG_4008In addition, we’ve removed the bar in the corner of the Beer Garden, and we’re looking to put a more substantial bar in the middle of the Beer Garden — directly within the line of sight while you’re walking around inside, instead of being tucked in a corner.

“We’ll be able to get eight beers outside instead of four,” Chris says. “And you’ll be able to actually see the bar from inside. Before, it was tucked in a corner, and I don’t think you knew about it until you were outside. Now, you’ll have a greater variety to choose from out there, as well.”

This is shaping up to be a great summer. Not only will there be more room outside, but some of the beers we’ve got scheduled should make our fans very happy.

Now, if we could get it to stop snowing and get it to actually be summer, that would be fantastic.

See you soon!
