Do you still go out for St. Patrick’s Day? Why or why not?: No, because drunken 23-year olds dressed in green face paint scare me. But for real, I typically avoid bars on heavy-drinking holidays. You may spot me out trying to catch the Irish Pipe Brigade during the day. I also reach out to my friends via text or social media that if anyone needs a ride I’ll come to get them or get them an Uber.

How do you celebrate?: I cheer on my Brew Crew participating in the Carney’s 5k and Polar Bear Plunge, enjoy a CMBC brew on tap, and head home by 1pm to enjoy the rest of my day.

Do you still go out for St. Patrick’s Day? Why or why not?: It depends. A bunch of my friends recently started a St. Paddy’s Day tradition, renting a jitney and bouncing from place to place, but after last year — which may have involved too much Corrosion for my one buddy — we’re taking a break this year. Suffice it to say, that jitney needed a SERIOUS airing-out after last year’s festivities, and my coat — an innocent bystander to the carnage — had quite the dry-cleaning bill.

How do you celebrate?: Back in the day, mom used to make corned beef and cabbage. I was never a fan, but, again, half Native American.
