  1. When CMBC asked you to take the plunge, why did you say yes?

As anyone who knows me is aware of, I love the ocean and surf all year round, so I’ll jump at any opportunity to get out into the water.  And since this is for a good cause, it was a no-brainer!

  1. What’s the coldest you’ve ever been? Where? Why?

The coldest I’ve ever been was back in early-January when I went surfing in a snowstorm, so this is nothing new to me, except this time I won’t have a wetsuit.

  1. What beer are you looking forward to drinking at Carney’s when you get out of the water?

After climbing out of the cold water, nothing sounds better than a big pint of Cape May Stout! Those roasted and chocolate notes are going to help warm my chilly bones!

  1. When CMBC asked you to take the plunge and run the 5K, why did you say yes?

I said no because I had to work, then got my shift covered! Also because it’s for a good cause.

  1. What’s the coldest you’ve ever been? Where? Why?

I’m typically always cold.

  1. What beer are you looking forward to drinking at Carney’s when you get out of the water?

Sweet Stout, dawg.

  1. When CMBC asked you to take the plunge, why did you say yes?

I appreciate CMBC’s Core Value “Be a Good Neighbor” and their sponsorship of the event. I figured I could share a little personal support as well and take the Plunge! It should be fun, if a bit masochistic, and Family Promise is doing important work towards which I am glad to contribute.

  1. What’s the coldest you’ve ever been? Where? Why?

The coldest I’ve been might be the time I went skiing in single-digit temps, though I probably felt just as cold at the outdoor Flyers-Pens game at Heinz Field last year. It started wet-snowing and it was hard to last in the stands after tailgating and being outside for hours (it didn’t help the Flyers played terribly). I can be a wimp when cold…is it cheating to wear a wetsuit?

  1. What beer are you looking forward to drinking at Carney’s when you get out of the water?

IPA — some bitter hops will complement the bitter cold I’ll be feeling.

  1. When CMBC asked you to take the plunge, why did you say yes?

I’ve never done one before, so I figured I might as well get chilly for a good cause. I like the cold a lot.

  1. What’s the coldest you’ve ever been? Where? Why?

Vermont. In the middle of winter. Skiing. It was a -30° windchill at the top of the mountain. That’s fairly cold.

  1. What beer are you looking forward to drinking at Carney’s when you get out of the water?

We’re gonna have Sweet Stout? Ooh. Definitely Sweet Stout.

  1. When CMBC asked you to take the plunge, why did you say yes?

CMBC offered to pay and it’s for a good cause so I figured why not.

  1. What’s the coldest you’ve ever been? Where? Why?

A few years back, I was in the Poconos at my buddy’s house. We got drunk and there was a lot of snow and I went out in my underwear and jumped in the snow. I was pretty cold then because his house doesn’t have gas heat, only a wood-burning stove.

  1. What beer are you looking forward to drinking at Carney’s when you get out of the water?

IPA.

  1. When CMBC asked you to take the plunge, why did you say yes?

Because it’s for a good cause and it’ll be fun.

  1. What’s the coldest you’ve ever been? Where? Why?

I jumped in the snow in my boxers. That was pretty cold. It was with my friends and they told me to do it. And I said #YOLO.

  1. What beer are you looking forward to drinking at Carney’s when you get out of the water?

Cape May Stout. It’s delicious. I love dark beers, and I’m gonna be cold, so it’s gonna warm me up.

So, help out the Brew Crew and take the Plunge for a good cause!
