City to Shore Reviews

At CMBC, this is one of our favorite times of the year. The summer season is in full swing, we’ve got some of our favorite beers on tap in the Tasting Room, and we’re ramping things up for one of our biggest community initiatives: BikeMS: City to Shore!

We’ve been sponsoring a team for as long as anyone around here can remember, and we’ve raised a pretty penny for multiple sclerosis research and support in the process: over $100,000.

It doesn’t hurt things that we come out with one of our favorite beers in conjunction with the ride. We usually release our Double IPA City to Shore the weekend of the ride, but we’re moving it up in the rotation this year to help our team with their fundraising.

And because it’s just so damn good that we wanted it sooner, and, since we make the beer, we get to decide.

We throw down some sexy hops in this one: Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe bring a ton of citrus and grapefruit flavors, balanced perfectly by a touch of pilsner malts and our London Ale yeast.

We’re big fans of it around the brewery, and our fans are big fans, too. Read what they have to say!

City to Shore is Here!

It’s one of the biggest weekends of our sponsorship year, when all the work and training and fundraising comes to a head and our bikers all convene in Cherry Hill for one singular purpose: making Multiple Sclerosis a thing of the past.

PHL17 love!

PHL17 was down last week to film their final installment of Lee by the Sea, Jason Lee’s segment on the PHL17 Morning News highlighting all of the great things at the Jersey Shore. He caught our guys canning some Coastal, got a lesson in brewing from Ryan, and sampled a flight of The Bog, Mop Water, Cape May IPA, and City to Shore.

City to Shore

BikeMS: City to Shore is inherently exciting. Thousands of bike riders make the trek from Cherry Hill, riding on a wave of enthusiasm and goodwill, entering Ocean City to meet the cheering throngs awaiting their arrival.

The least we could do is get them a beer.

And this time around they’ll be able to stash 4-packs of 16-ounce cans along the way.
