“You’ll have the luck o’ the Irish on St. Paddy’s Day Weekend! But only if you’re at Cape May O’Brew Co!”

St. Paddy’s Day Weekend

One of Cape May Brewing Company’s favorite weekends is coming up: St. Paddy’s Day!

Not only is it the weekend where we all get to be Irish, but it’s also a great weekend for beer. So, to celebrate, we’ve got two new releases and eight one-offs, sure to make everyone feel as Irish as humanly possible (without actually going to Ireland, because that can get expensive).

The fun starts at 4pm on Friday, March 13th and goes all weekend long.

“We’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a little differently this year, and it’s going to be a great time!” says Tasting Room Manager Danielle White. “We’re blacking out our Barrel Room and turning the whole thing into Cape May O’Brew Co’s version of a speakeasy, so that’s going to be awesome. Then, we’re releasing all kinds of one-offs and new releases and a special, limited-edition t-shirt. This is going to be the best St. Paddy’s Day weekend we’ve ever had.”

This is going to be so cool! We’re blacking-out the Barrel Room and turning it into an old-style speakeasy. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Prohibition-era New York City, deep in the city streets of Hell’s Kitchen. Don’t miss it!

And we’ll have eight special one-offs for the weekend: Cape May Stout, Mexican Coffee Stout, Irish Coffee Stout, Irish Whiskey, Irish Soda Bread, Irish Potato, Shamrock Shake, and Mudslide. You’ll only be able to get them inside the speakeasy, and we’ll be tapping a few at 4pm and the rest on Saturday!

You’ll be able to get the first sips of our new Irish Potato Imperial Dessert Ale! Inspired by those delectable Irish confections, we conditioned this decadent brew on house-toasted coconut and finely shaved cinnamon sticks, resulting in a beverage that is sweet, savory, and desserty — all in a glass. It’s only available in our Tasting Room, so be sure to get yours!

“Our Irish Potato Imperial Dessert Ale is sweet and decadent and desserty and something you wouldn’t expect for a beer coming out this time of year,” says Innovation Director Brian Hink. “Normally stouts and dark beers get all the love for St. Patrick’s Day, but I haven’t seen a lot of heavily adjuncted Imperial Dessert Ales before, so I’m definitely excited to see how this resonates.”

And you’ll be able to stock up on Tan Limes in 12-ounce cans! Our Mexican-style Lager brewed with a touch of locally-sourced sea salt and a hint of Persian lime juice, Tan Limes is fresh and zesty and available for the first time in 12-ounce six-packs.

You’ll definitely want to get your hands on our extraordinarily limited-edition t-shirt! We’ve only got a few of this 100% cotton, unisex t-shirt, so be sure to grab yours over the weekend.

In addition, we’ll have Irish music going on all weekend long, and plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
